Laser Hair Removal

Laser hair removal is one of the most commonly done cosmetic procedures in the US. The laser beams highly concentrated light into hair follicles. Pigment in the follicles absorb the light which destroys the hair. Lasers are useful for removing unwanted hair from face, leg, arm, underarm, bikini line and other areas. The cost of the treatment varies depending on the size of the area being treated and the number of treatments required.

Electrolysis is a method of removing individual hairs from face or body. Our electrolysis devices destroy the growth center of the hair with heat energy. A very fine probe is inserted into the hair follicle, the hair is then removed with tweezers. The total number of sessions needed to remove hair permanently will vary from person to person.

Laser Skin Treatments

Lasers can heat and destroy imperfections of the skin such as birthmarks, tattoos, age spots, sun damage and acne scars. The technique directs short, concentrated beams of light at irregular skin, precisely removing skin layer by layer. It results in a healthier, smoother and younger look.

A small amount of blood is drawn from you and placed in a sterile tube that is spun down in a centrifuge to separate the different components of the blood. Red and white blood cells are divided from the platelets and the plasma (the clear fluid). This plasma now contains a higher than normal number of platelets and is called platelets rich plasma, or PRP. The PRP is injected into specific areas of the skin, promoting your own collagen to grow. The regenerated tissue soften the look of wrinkles and creates a smoother and brighter skin tone and texture.

Skin needling, also called collagen induction therapy, is a minimally invasive skin rejuvenation procedure that involves the use of a device that contains fine needles. The needles are used to puncture the skin and create a controlled skin injury. Each puncture triggers the body to fill these microscopic wounds by producing new collagen and elastin. The process improves skin texture and firmness, and reduces scars, pore size and wrinkles.

Little injections of the medicine into small tense facial muscles will immediately result in a smoother, more relaxed and uplifted face. Gentle use of Botox, Xeomin or Dysport will reduce wrinkles without compromising facial movement.

Chemical Peeling

Chemical peels are able to produce healthier, more youthful looking skin by removing the outer damaged layers of the skin using a chemical solution.Chemical peels vary in strength and are tailored to the individual patient. While often performed on their own, chemical peels can be combined with other procedures for a more complete rejuvenation of the skin. Chemical peels are most effective for patients who want to correct:

  • uneven pigmentation
  • sun damage
  • wrinkles
  • scarring
  • blemishes
